Mithilesh Sarode is a graduate of New Media Design department from National Institute of Design. It was here that he was introduced to a completely different perspective of technology. Technology need not be just another tool in our every day lives but rather a system that can improve the way we live.
He is an Interaction Designer with an avid interest in new media art. He finds his heart in seeking the relevance of new media technologies at the junction of objects, spaces, people and society. Having worked for a museum as an interaction designer he has realized the significance of well designed technology as a tool for effective communication of information to people.
He believes that technology has this ability to transform places like museums into knowledge centers. Here the space(museum) does not take the position of an authority but rather involves the people in the process of knowledge creation and propagation. technology can act as a bridge between people, culture and spaces to facilitate the knowledge creation.
He wishes to grow in this field of design for a long time to come and continue to question and be questioned about its significance and contribution.
